The brand

Zen, sold as Zero Extra Nonsense, is a protein dessert bar brand from True Essential Foods. Each bar carries 15g of protein, 13g of fibre and 6g of net carbs with no added sugar, and the whole pitch is that it tastes like dessert rather than like a supplement.

We handled Shopify development on the store.

What we did

A functional snack is bought on its numbers and kept on its taste, so the product template leads with protein, fibre and net carbs, then hands the page over to the flavour photography. Pack sizes sit as variants on one product rather than as separate listings, which stops four SKUs from turning into a dozen near-identical pages.

The catalogue is small and the merchandising is not: variety boxes, bundle pricing, a free gift on every order and a launch banner that changes with each new flavour. All of that runs through the collection page and the cart instead of through new templates, so a drop like Tiramisu Fudge ships as content, not as a build, and the storefront stays quick when the launch traffic arrives at once.
